Over Labor Day weekend we took a road trip to Eastern Oregon. We love learning the history of places we visit. One very interesting stop was Kam Wah Chung & Co State Heritage Site in John Day, Oregon. This is such a magical place. It's like walking into a time capsule full of amazing things everywhere you look.
If you want to learn more about the history surrounding Kam Wah Chung here's a video on PBS .
Next I'll show you what we found in Baker City, a town that during the 1880s was one of the largest cities in Oregon.
