Life on the Farm at Christmas Time

View of the tree field

As many of you already know we own a little U Cut Christmas Tree Farm, Victorhill Farm, here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. This keeps us very busy from the week before Thanksgiving until almost Christmas selling trees and making fresh wreaths. Happy families full of holiday cheer drive from the city for a visit in the country to pick out their favorite tree along with a fresh wreath to decorate their homes. It's a joyful time of year bringing a little sunshine into otherwise dark and dreary days that often occur this time of year.
Thought maybe you might want a peek at my other life away from painting, so here are a few pics.

Hunky Joe always makes me laugh but not Zippy!

These few weeks are my little break from being an artist. Soon Christmas will be here. The season over and I'll be back to painting and creating everyday with loads of new art.
