"Square Flowers Series 1"
12x12x1 1/2"
Acrylic on Canvas
Clear back in the early 70s, in another century, I used to make my own clothes on an old non electric Singer foot treadle sewing machine. We had a fancy electric zig zag machine, I just liked using the old fashioned one better. The other day I was rummaging through a pile of saved fabric scraps and found a few remnants of flowery dress material left over from the sewing days. Bold, cheery prints with unusual shapes and color combinations inspired this recent series of paintings. Hey, and you can purchase this one from my Blenda Studio Shop.
