And In a Blink They All Flew Away
My sweet little birdies (see earlier post) have left their nest. The other day while watering, one young bird dressed in new feathers, fluttered out of the window box in front of me and landed to the ground. Then quickly hid behind a flower pot. His daddy was watching closely and within minutes swooped down to stuff a fresh grub in his mouth.
Couldn't resist peeking into the nest to see two babies still left inside.
But later that same day they to were ready to see the world. They rested quietly at the edge of the flower box until gathering up nerve to flutter down and into the world.
This picture is very blurry but wanted you to see those great big feet perched on a branch for the first time.
